Celebrating 125 Years
T
he Atlanta Bar Association celebrated its 125th
Anniversary in front of a sold out luncheon of 350
people at the Piedmont Driving Club on February 25,
2014. William C. Hubbard, President-Elect of the American
Bar Association was keynote speaker and addressed the
attendees with words of praise for the Atlanta Bar’s history
of accomplishments which recognized its pro bono and
public service and support of the legal profession. He was
introduced by Bill Ide, Past President of the American Bar

Association and partner at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP.
Mr. Hubbard, accompanied by his wife Kappy, was welcomed
with a reception sponsored by twenty of the Atlanta Bar
Association Sections which was held the night before at
the offices of Nelson Mullins Riley and Scarborough LLP.
The reception included special guests from the State Bar of
Georgia, sister bars, and other community dignitaries.
