About the Work
Linocut, October 2013. In this Little Prince-referring
self portrait, I’ve placed myself on the isolating
asteroid the Prince escaped to find a better world
to display my experience of post-grad life. Isolated,
unsure of my directions, I turn my gaze from you,
refusing you eye contact. I made this print for a
submission to the University of Arkansas.
