Who is ozzie aziz? By Stevenson Dor Turkish-Cypriot Actress/Singer/ Songwriter/ Model Ozzie Aziz was born in London, England and graduated from Manchester University with a BA Honors Degree in Creative arts, Drama, Dance, Directing and Choreography. Her acting experience in England included numerous West-End Theater performances, amongst others ‘BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS, WEST SIDE STORY and OLIVER. In 2000, back then simply named Ozzie, she signed a deal with legendary producer Tony Bongiovi of Bongiovi records, where she wrote most of her songs with Joe Butera III, Styles include Dance, Rock, Pop, Ballad and RnB, but always recognizable due to their energetic style and mixture of traditional middle eastern sounds combined with pure western dance beats. The first single “Light my fire” was released in Brazil and the second single “Let me Be” entered the US top 30 billboard charts. Ozzie’s theatrical shows filled with eye candy got her touring in different US cities, performing at LOVE PARADE, WORLD DANCE, EQUALITY FORUM, WHITE PARTY, BILLBOARD, WMC and GAY PRIDE and later performing internationally including Montreal Canada, Acapulco Mexico, Northern Cyprus, and Turkey. In 2005 it was back to acting, Ozzie played the lead role in the Kurdish drama ‘Bekhal’s Tears’ shot in Northern Iraq. The film caused a lot of Controversy In the Middle-east and had success at film festivals worldwide from Abu Dhabi, Dubai to Berlin and London. Her stellar performance lead to Ozzie focusing on her 1st passion, Acting! Starring in another Drama in Iraq ‘Revenge’, A thriller in the US ‘Phoenix Falling’ a leading role in the Horror ‘Serial School’ And a lead in the Webisode ‘Moonbound24’. She has also been in several TV series and Commercials, has modeled worldwide and currently has music released in Turkey with famous DJ Huseyin Karadayi and also 2 hits in the top 10 in Cyprus. Ozzie has two films being released with her music in 2014 and a couple of movie deals, one being a Horror ‘The Last Party’ with International writer/ Director Lauand Omar.
