Holding Memories

truly “ feel ” a presence of the loved one . Not as some spooky thing or even eerie , but there are moments when I just can ’ t get the person off my mind during the making of the bear . There are a few that were more challenging and therefore when they were done , and the customers loved them , I felt like I accomplished something beyond what I thought I could do . But all in all , each one has meaning to someone and therefore , each one is special to me too ! SB : What are your future plans for the business ? Any new products in the works or will it forever be teddy bears ? I am not sure where this business will go . Because of the uniqueness of the type of work I do , I feel an obligation to be the creator and to make sure each one is handled with extreme care . I keep pretty busy and now need to hire help , but I ’ m very picky about what I do and therefore would be picky about who I hired . I would love to grow in that I could “ service ” more people who would like this type of item . It is truly in God ’ s hands , I pray a lot about it . If God wants me to continue , I will flourish and move forward . As long as my focus is on Him , I don ’ t look too far in the future .
New products ? I would love to add some different things - like maybe a puppy or other animal to sew . I would like to make small throw quilts , possibly using mens ties or womens scarves . I am interested in adding bear blankies- those little blankies for babies with teddy bear heads . But all of that will have to come later . I need to get a little caught up to plan my patterns and think about expanding .
