Help make New Mexico THE State of Excellence QNM Staff Corner Retha Shiplet ‘. . .we are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we are going to relentlessly chase it, because in the process we will catch excellence. I am not remotely interested in just being good.‘ Vince Lombardi Great customer service is still my expectation everywhere I go. I don’t plan to lower that expectancy – there is hope. When it’s not happening some say ‘that’s as good as it gets’ and continue to frequent the business. I do observe and try to determine what could be the culprit. What could be happening is lack of training in key processes, expectations, not the right person for the job, leadership not concerned about customer outcomes, no alignment of mission or part of achieving the vision. My parent’s dry cleaning business excelled in success – overtaking the competition. If you dared work there – perfection was instilled in the process of each garment – and each customer was to be treated with respect, friendliness and sole focus from the start of the property, inside, deliveries, counting back the right change. Aim for excellence—be great. QNM can help you get there—workshops, coaching, strategy planning, assessments. Are you attending our FREE Monthly Webinars?
