and tournaments. It doesn’t matter if it’s a huge tournament or a small one.
We want to just make the presence and be there.
Hopefully, this year, we can attend World Cup. Right now we have Richard
(Rivera) as one of our techs, and he’s really good. As long as we can continue to train our staff and go forward with such great employees, we should
be there in full force.
X3: And finally, on the lighter side, the question every tech wants answered. The DP o-ring sizes/charts. Speculation is that they’re Scandinavian or Danish. What is the “official” word?
Dallas/Richard: The o-ring sizes? (laughs) Basically, ever since I started they
were just numbers to me and I understood what they meant. But, there is
a standard. It’s difficult to get on everyone else’s standard. Only because it
would mean a change in the designs. The o-rings are metric. We have heard
feedback. Not only from our customers. But our retailers & online retailers,
as well. One of the biggest guys that have been wrenching on us is www.
oringmonkey.com. I know him personally and he beats me up for this. “Why
don’t we go to standard o-ring sizes?” We can relay this to management. But
again, it would change the design of the engineering and how they implement these new sizes into the product. It would change a lot in the designs.”
X3: We all know that when we see an o-ring size that begins with an
“0” with a slash through it, that it’s a DP o-ring!
