interview
What are the team goals the rest of this season
and beyond?
We are hoping to finish the season on a high
and try and win the diamond wars series this
year. As for next season, we are looking to again
keep a stable number of members heading out
to big events across the UK and try our hands at
tournament paintball in the CPPS UK tournament.
In the off season over the winter we will be heading out to train and sure up some skills throughout
the team.
What is the paintball scene in Wales like?
DEAD! We have to travel over to Bristol, England
for the nearest walk on and training facility and
at least 150 miles to the Diamond Wars series
in Birmingham every month. There are paintball
sites in South Wales but they are not really accommodated for own gunners as such.
Do you have any sponsors? If so, who are they?
As for sponsors, we feel we have one of the best
X3EURO.COM
in the business. For the 2013 season we have
proudly and gratefully had the privileged to
be sponsored by some of the nicest guys in the
industry. Rap4UK! These guys know what players
want, what they need and are always happy to
help in any way they can.
Have you ever played in Oklahoma D-Day, Big
Paintball Maneuvers or any other mega type
game?
The closest we have to a mega game here in
the UK is probably North Versus South Held
by warped paintball at DTE Swynnerton army
training facility. I don’t want to quote unrealistic
numbers but from what I’ve gathered it is a near
a 500 acre army training facility that gathers
1500+ players from across the world every year
to have a huge weekend game! As for some of
the mega games held in Germany Russia and
the United States, they are on our list of games
to attend and I’m sure in the next couple of years
you will see some of us there for sure.
