opening signal. Within the first two
hours of starting, Omega tribe had
found the final part of the doomsday device and only had to purchase the code from the aliens of
Barter Town. That purchase cost
the Omega tribe many gold coins,
but the aliens of Barter Town just
laughed as the tribe’s representative left with the code to the end
of the world.
As time ran down to the final battle, each tribe continued to fight
over the center of the field in order
to allow players to find more props
and gold. But as time wore down,
gold became worthless as the
aliens packed up to leave the planet in order to get out of the blast
zone of the doomsday device. Gold
stacked up at both bases as worthless coins were still being collected.
A mad dash to turn in props started to happen as the finals minutes

Right at noon, the final battle began. The ‘mad’ game director
placed a single flag pole in the middle of the field near the abandoned
farm house. Whoever’s colors
were flying at the end of the time
would get the points. Tyler, again,
tried to contact Marcus, and give
him an ultimatum to give up the
flag or the bomb would be detonated, and again, Marcus could not be
found. With five minutes left in the
battle, Tyler threw caution to the
wind and let the doomsday device
detonate and all human life left on
the planet was destroyed. In the
end, points did not matter because
no one was left, except the aliens
that were in orbit laughing their
heads off as the humans destroyed
themselves.
Would it happen again?
After this game, would this type
of scenario game happen again?
When asked this, Ben said it would
depend on how the players reacted
to the game. The only thing Tyler
said that he would change was to
make it where you knew if a prop
was a piece of a bigger prop. So
expect this type of game or something similar to appear again in the
future at a MPP game.
