95 In my adult career I carved enough time out of my schedule to fabricate my prototype full auto BB gun using a paintball marker as a surrogate air source until I had more time/knowledge about pneumatics. I successfully created a prototype and showed it to some pals. They immediately congratulated me on converting a paintball gun into a bb gun to which I defensively responded “No no no, the paintball gun is just a makeshift air source” to which they replied, “ok Ryan… but you did convert a pb gun into a bb gun”. Seren-friggin-dipity! From then on I realized indeed I had inadvertently invented the first Paintball gun to bb gun adaptor… and it really worked. We patented 6 claims for the Morph Fire shortly thereafter. Ryan, do you have a background in paintball? I started playing when I was 13 years old and my first marker was a splat master… I S#*t you not! I remember a guy I envied had a tricked out Nelspot 007. I shortly grew to be quite proficient and by age 15 prided myself on out runnin’ and out gunnin’ most of my competition and having “Beer bounties” put on my head by opposing teams for anybody who took me out. I graduated to a PMI 2 which I proceeded to modify myself into a 68 magnum polished to a high brass sheen. Then a 68 special (serial #0047). I traveled with the Miami valley rangers for two years and then went to college. I still played but not as organized. These days you might catch me being a 101st Airborne Ranger dropped behind the lines in Oklahoma’s D-Day or behind the controls of my custom fabri- cated Paint tank at the tipp challenge. I love to get away with my pals…kick ass… take names and swap war stories with all those I tagged and those that tagged me. I love the sport of paintball… and now I am diggin the symbiosis with the great sport of airsoft. Last we spoke you mentioned the Morph Fire conversion kit was soon being released for other marker brands. How is that going? R&D is done!!! We are currently producing and delivering the Planet eclipse EGO and ETEK adaptors and the Tippmann conversion is in final production as I am writing this. Based on feedback from the paintball world we are designing conversions for Empire and other brands. We are hoping the public gives us more feedback on what they want because Morph Fire has no limit in sight to its adaptive abilities. Is there anything else you’d like to add? The only thing I have to add is God bless America! The only country left in the world where a kid can have a gun dream and grow up to make it come true. If I can make a living doing what I love… I’m never gonna “work” another day in my life. Thanks for the interest and the opportunity to share. WWW.PAINTBALLX3.COM
