Valken Big Games one in the UK and one
in France which I believe are the only
Valken Big games in the world.
We try and work with as many companies
as possible and we also try and choose
our event sponsors to suit our customer base. In the past that meant working
closely with Tippmann as the majority of
our customers in the past shot Tippmann
markers, but nowadays most of our customers shoot tournament style guns so we
now tend to work closer with companies
like Planet Eclipse as this reflects what our
customers want and need.
What is your history in paintball?
My story is almost exactly the same as
everyone else who works in the paintball
industry. I was a player first and foremost
and then kind of ‘fell in’ to working in
paintball. It was never a plan. I’ve played
january 2014
for a few teams over the years including
Team Fury, Tippmann UK and now I play
scenario, Sup Air and UWL for a team
I sponsor called The Shoreline Rangers.
Whilst my company sponsors the team,
I’m literally only a grunt in the team. The
Captain and Vice Captain make all the decisions and its liberating to just be ‘one of
the boys’ when we go away and play. 2014
will be a busy playing season for me as I’ll
be playing in every leg of our own UWL
series, I’ll also be playing Div 3 of the UK’s
main tournament series the CPPS and
I’ll also be playing tournament in Europe
in the CPS (the Euro version of the PSP)
as well as traveling to Canada to play at
Wasaga beach and no doubt a few scenario
events in the UK and Europe.
I love playing all formats of paintball,
scenario, Sup Air and woodland tournament, its all just paintball to me. As long as
