Without these sponsors, we don’t know where we would be today! Todd, what is the history of the War Hounds Paintball Team? Our team was founded over the winter of 2009 into 2010 after a group of 4 friends decided to unite and form today’s War Hounds. We formed the team with three simple principles: Fun, team, win. Those three words define us! We started getting out to more and more events, showing everyone we were here to stay and slowly but surely, we gained popularity, acquiring new members along the way. Today, the team rosters 18 players, plus the Party Brigade. The team has won numerous awards over our time together. We compete in both scenario and tournament woodsball. Where have the War Hounds played? We have played in numerous events in the Tri-State area and further including West Point’s Spring and Fall Combat Classics, January 2014 What plans do you have for 2014? We plan to continue attending scenario events in the northeast region and work our way into new areas including Chicago and the southeast. We plan to get more involved with the Woodsball Tournament Series and other tournament woodsball events including the Woodsball World Cup, which we took 1st in the AM-DIV in 201 1! Todd, how long have you been playing? I have been playing since 1995. I started playing outlaw, like many players did, shooting with a group of guys in my local area. I was still in high school, just learning about the sport and remember seeing tri-folds for big fields around my area, just didn’t have the funds to get to a real field. I started out with a Hammer and progressed to a Pro-Lite in a few months time. What about the scenario/woodsball side of the game of paintball could be done better?
