115 year, and have now moved up a few divisions and are looking to get a proper crack at it this year. Describe a typical team practice? In the past we’ve just gone down the pub. But our first real practise is in a couple of weeks where we’ve got NickyT of Planet Eclipse coming down to coach us, so I’ll let you know how it goes! What is paintball like in your region? Awesome. There are so many tournaments and fields within such a relative short distance, you could almost play every weekend and not have to drive more than 3 hours to each event. It’s the same with scenarios. Have you ever played in one of the big scenario events like D-Day? We sent a crew over to D-Day for ‘09 and ‘11 which was an amazing experience, and we’ve also played loads of national level events across Europe. What is your favorite event of the year? It varies from year to year. Last year it would have to be The Fort run by Shoreline over in France. A giant medieval fort with a moat, tunnels and woodland, combined with scorching hot weather and surrounded by mates. Perfect. This year we’re off to play in a fully functioning theme park so i think the crown might shift. sense of satisfaction coming off the field with a couple g’s and knowing that you made a serious contribution to the win. What’s the furthest you’ve traveled individually or as a team to play paintball? It’d have to be the 4500+ miles to Oklahoma D-Day, but it’d be nice to break that record one day with a trip to Asia or the west coast. What do you like about woodsball/scenario/milsim do you like in comparison to speedball/tournament paintball? I love the relaxed nature of scenario ball, the ability to drop in and out of play over the whole weekend, and spend a lot of time socialising with mates. Scenario is what you make of it, you can go balls hardcore out all weekend, or you can chill, totally up to you. But i love the competition and adrenaline side of tournament ball.
