50 The soldiers of the pro division, Infamous, move into 2014 with the addition of the Bornsteins, Jason and Corey, and a roster with top players like Bobby Aviles, Damian Ryan, Nicky Cuba, Brad McCurley, Drew Templeton and Travis Lemanski intact. A consistent roster that looks this good plus some additions that only make things better could mean 2014 could see Infamous top the podium again. X-Factor battled throughout 2013 and capped it off with a remarkable World Cup victory. That’s quite a launch pad for their 2014 season and they’ll likely come out swinging on their home Texas turf with a consistent roster. Aftershock took their lumps and played their hearts out at the World Cup in 2013, earning a spot in the Champion’s division for 2014. Should they continue to improve, watch out as these will no longer be games the top teams can simply attend – they’ll have to show up and play now to beat Aftershock. Omaha Vicious lost Keith Devitt to Heat but after a solid 2013, could 2014 be their season to rise up and build a home in the top ranks? Texas Storm earned a top slot for 2014 and their roster isn’t exactly a February 2014 bunch of nobodies either. The Texas-heavy PSP Champion’s division will undoubtedly showcase some remarkable games in 2014, as there isn’t a single team in the division that doesn’t deserve to be there. The top teams in 2014 professional paintball will be not only a showcase of talent, either, but also of equipment as manufacturers will provide these teams with their very best. Planet Eclipse will hand their LV-1, Geo 3.1 and CSL markers to teams like Dynasty, X-Factor and Impact, while Houston Heat, Seattle Thunder and Art Chaos will shoot new Luxe markers like the OLED. Dye’s new hose-free DM14 markers will be the weapon of choice for the Ironmen and Tampa Bay Damage, while MacDev Clone GTi markers will likely remain the gun of the Red Legion. For another season, XSV will take the field as the JT factory team, shooting the Impulse marker, while fellow KEE teams like Infamous and Vicious will shoot Vanquish and Axe markers, with Vicious recently launching gorgeous custom Axe markers.
