Want to contribute to the ongoing history of paintball? Email us Greg Hastings Everyone knows Greg Hastings is the name and driving force behind the whole best-selling paintball video game thing, something that brought paintball to a completely new audience and further legitimized our sport. However, that’s not all Greg has done for our game. Beyond that, he was also an accomplished and successful professional player for teams like Ground Zero Gold and XSV, and that whole comfortable paintball pack thing? Yeah, he invented that back in nineties when he sewed a harness onto a back belt. Forest and Tracy Hatcher Forest and Tracy, owners and founders of Pro Team Products, have managed to stay in paintball for nearly 20 years. Back in the early 90s you may have seen or used the MicroMag, or the Pro Team Products Armson spiral rifled barrels. During the early 90s Pro Team, Tracy and Forest were a company for the players, sponsoring many events and teams. While they are still operating today, they’ve taken a more behind the scenes position in paintball the last decade. A little know fact about Pro Team Products is they were making MilSim marker bodies about a decade before the term MilSim was used in paintball - 1993. Chuck Hendsch Chuck Hendsch has done it all in paintball. He worked for RP Scherer, he’s played on some of the best teams in the world, he was president of the NPPL and he’s done two stints with JT Paintball. But in 2003 when Hendsch took his player base and left the PSP, he put the NPPL back in the limelight with the Huntington Beach tournament. Of course that story is still being written as the league is now in a holding pattern. Richmond Italia X-Ball made its debut in 2002, and for its creator, Richmond Italia, this is just one of the many contributions he’s made to the game. Richmond was the mind behind the Matrix paintball gun, which soldiers on today as the DM and PM line as manufactured by Dye, and the man behind Procaps, manufacturers of Diablo and Draxxus paintballs over the years. Richmond is now the owner of GI Sportz. Laurent Hamet Greg Hastings Forest Hatcher Chuch Hendsch Richmond Italia WWW.PAINTBALLX3.COM
