Product Review bled up by one corporate acquisition after another via Brass Eagle and JT, KEE Action Sports now has what it takes to make a marker called the Autococker and, after the success of their Sniper pump marker, brilliant designer Simon Stevens finished out his time at KEE Action Sports bringing paintball the Resurrection. Available in black or grey dust anodized colors, the Empire Resurrection Autococker is both an accurate homage to what the Autococker was and a great new model all at the same time. A light, attractive mechanical marker firing from a closed bolt, the Resurrection Autococker is standard with an adjustable, vertical lever-cla mping feed neck, a Delrin bolt with a quick-pull pin, lever on/off bottle adapter, .45 grip frame with wrap-around rubber grips, an adjustable low pressure regulator, an inline regulator with an angled, adjustable Macroline adapter and, get ready for this, an Autococker-threaded barrel kit! See what happened there? Autococker threads! That’s where that came from. Seriously though, the multi-piece Empire barrel kit delivered with the Resurrection is actually pretty nice, with various bore-sized backs able to handle practically any sized paintballs and a ported tip that makes for an accurate and quiet fourteen inch barrel. The sliding, single trigger with a generous trigger shoe is very responsive to help players new to the Autococker concept avoid short-stroking the trigger, or failing to pull and release the LLX3.COM 95
