For that event Loyd decided to switch the position of refs every two matches in order to give them the opportunity to learn how to cover every part of the field. The first game of Div. A saw Decima Centuria against Italian Idols in four exciting points that ended with a 3-4. After this victory the young Idols team, guided by Bear Degidio, started the climb toward the podium that was only slowed down by Scorpions Milano. The Idols next match would be against Decima Centuria. The experience of the Romans players was useless in the face of the energy and the team spirit of Padua Idols.
