The UWL started with a 10-man
tournament and for the first time
this year offers a 5-man tournament
as well. In the 10-man game each
game last 30 minutes with reinsertions every 10 minutes. The object
of the game is two pull stations at
the mid line of the field and a center objective. Teams gain points
for each minute that the mid flags
are pulled to their color, grabbing
the center objective, and pulling the
other team’s base flag. Teams contain 1 captain, 1 scout or ranger,
and one heavy gunner. The 5-man
game has the same objectives with
a captain, scout, and heavy gunner
and is 10 minutes with one reinsertion at the half way mark. Each of
these games is very intense from
the starting whistle until the final
whistle.
