No one knew the status of the audibles. The German High Command and the Allied HQ quickly assigned incoming audibles to units closest to the new objectives. And with no idea how many points that completed audible might be worth both commands were a little in the dark. With no real updates, the commanders didn’t want to mislead their troops.
