HOT JOBS

Hiring Challenge:

Being stationed overseas where the SOFA is a big challenge for all dependents and getting a job when separating from service were the hardest challenges. As a spouse, I’ve had employment gaps, and I felt uncertainty trying to get “the job”, not just “any” job, that would start the career that was long on hold.

Assistance Received:

Jenn assisted me in reviewing my resume. I sent her what I had for starters, and I followed her comments and suggestions, based on the type of job I was applying for and the type of organization, including private companies and government departments. She was also able to boost my morale; she was very encouraging and enthusiastic, even just through e-mails.

Results of Assistance:

I had at least 5 interview invites from companies such as Integra Services, JP Morgan Chase & Co, USAA, Ultimate Medical Academy, and PWC—my new employer!

Value of Experience:

MSCCN has been one of the most helpful military spouse resources I have ever used. I have accounts with other suggested military spouse assistance programs, but MSCCN has been the most consistent and effective.

No one should miss the experience to work with them, especially since it’s a FREE service that provides great quality. I am very grateful for the experience and will definitely spread the word!

Congratulations, Isabella, on your new position at PWC!
