SIR FUCKING NEWTON By: Casey McCullough I’d like to veto the law of gravity because I hate being so drawn to you. At first it seemed like my idea, being around you. That was until I tried to move away and couldn’t move a muscle. My body physically protested the distance; I couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep, I became sick more often and tried to lose that feeling through self-medication. There are other places I’d like to orbit and I’m tired of being pulled where I am not invited. Fuck your gravity and the laws created for it to keep me by you. I’m tired of fighting it and tired of giving in. It’s like a catch-22 where you are the catch and you’re fucking 22. These are systems built against me to keep me from winning and I am imploding like a supernova, collapsing in on myself. “REMEMBER? GRASS?” By: Devin Lavey 33 34
