Only four games which match GNAC teams against Division II schools are on the schedule, all in the Seawolf Jamboree. Undefeated BYU-Hawaii (6-0) invades the Alaska Airline Center Friday to take on the Alaska Nanooks (2-5) at 6 p.m. LAST WEEK: Tuesday - Quest 48 at Western Washington 105. Thursday – Alaska 62 at Western Oregon 67; Alaska Anchorage 75 at Saint Martin’s 68 (ot); MSU Billings 79 at Central Washington 88; Seattle Pacific 77 at Northwest Nazarene 51. Saturday – Alaska 64 at Saint Martin’s 67; Alaska Anchorage 66 at Western Oregon 87; Seattle Pacific 67 at Central Washington 73; MSU Billings 57 at Northwest Nazarene 59; Western Washington 118 at Simon Fraser 122. The second tournament game will match Humboldt State (3-4) and Alaska Anchorage (3-5) at 8 p.m. The teams switch opponents Saturday with Humboldt playing Alaska at 5 p.m. and BYU-Hawaii facing Alaska Anchorage at 7 p.m. THIS WEEK: Thursday – Northwest Nazarene at Boise State, 7 p.m. (exh). Friday – Seawolf Jamboree (BYU-Hawaii vs. Alaska, 6 p.m.; Humboldt State vs. Alaska Anchorage, 8 p.m.); Quest at Central Washington, 7 p.m.; Montana Western at MSU Billings, 7 p.m.; George Fox at Seattle Pacific, 7 p.m.; Saturday – Seawolf Jamboree (Humboldt State vs. Alaska, 5 p.m.; BYU-Hawaii vs. Alaska Anchorage, 7 p.m.); Alumni at MSU Billings, 5 p.m. (exh); Northwest Nazarene at Idaho State, 7:05 p.m. (exh); Camosun at Western Oregon, 11 a.m. BYU-Hawaii already has two wins against GNAC teams this year defeating both Central Washington and Seattle Pacific in November at Laie, Hawaii. The rest of this week’s schedule sends GNAC teams up against non-Division II squads. On Thursday, Northwest Nazarene plays an exhibition at Boise State. On Friday, Central Washington hosts Quest, B.C. and Seattle Pacific entertains Division III George Fox. Saturday – Portland Bible at Alaska, 3 p.m.; Ottawa vs. MSU Billings (at Honolulu), 2 p.m.; Northwest Nazarene at Dominican, 2 p.m.; Northwest Indian at Saint Martin’s, 7 p.m.; Capilano at Western Oregon, 2 p.m. On Saturday Northwest Nazarene plays an exhibition at Idaho State and Western Oregon goes for its seventh win in a row against Camosun (B.C.) at Monmouth. Following finals, a heavy week of games awaits most GNAC teams with two games scheduled on Monday, three on Tuesday, three on Wednesday, five on Thursday, three on Friday and five on Saturday. Seven of the games will match GNAC teams against West Region opponents, including five with PacWest teams and two with CCAA opponents. GNAC teams are currently 11-15 against the PacWest and 1-4 against the CCAA. 1
