Bronze Ball stays at
Carl W. Burt Field
The always-heated rivalry between Manchester
and Anderson did not disappoint as the
Spartans defeated the Ravens 42-13 to keep
the Bronze Ball for the fourth time in the
last five years. After a Ravens defender
broke through to block a Manchester field
goal attempt, senior offensive lineman
Eric Courter snatched the ball from the air
and rumbled into the end zone. Freshman
return specialist Dakota Nelson also put on
a show with an 85-yard kickoff return for a
touchdown.
