Norman Jones ’58x of Crystal Lake, Ill., appeared in an HBO
documentary called “Sport in America: Our Defining Stories” in
late 2013. Norman is the author of the book, Growing Up in
Indiana: The Culture and Hoosier Hysteria Revisited, available at

Shirley Ogle ’59 Willard of Rochester, Ind., is a historian for the
Fulton County Historical Society. In September 2013 she helped
lead a commemorative caravan that retraced the Trail of Death – the
forced removal of the Potawatomi people from Indiana to Kansas in
the fall of 1838. The caravan was designed to raise awareness of the
Potawatomi people and the migration that killed 42 people.
