We have many years of experience behind us and are able to offer know-how and expertise in buying, selling and renting houses, apartments, plots of land and commercial properties all around the island. Like many other markets, the real estate sector has its ups and downs, but on the whole it is doing well. Figures show that the growth rate in this sector is constantly increasing in Mauritius, with a 1.9% increase in 2009, 2.85% in 2010, etc. So we feel confident about the coming years. Do you market RES/IRS projects? What do you think of them? RES and IRS are sold off-plan most of the time. Because of this, before we advise our customers to get involved in such projects, we take care to check their viability so as to guarantee that a transaction is safe. And we are impatiently awaiting the bill which is in the pipeline from the Ministry of Finance to regulate the real estate sector. Among other things, it will protect the interests of buyers.
