ATFinancial Advisors Earns Top Guns Awards
ATFinancial Advisors, a specialized investment division of Dubuque-based holding company
ATBancorp, is pleased to announce its Mid Cap Core and Select Equity strategies were
conferred seven PSN Top Guns awards from Informa Investment Solutions’ PSN database
for being among the top 10 performers over a three year period within their peer group for

Northeast Iowa ECI to
Offer Business Training
IowaWORKS Northeast Iowa, in partnership with Employers’ Council of Iowa
(ECI), is offering business training titled
“Employers Optimizing Veteran Talent – A
Business Leader’s Guide to Tapping into
the Veteran Talent Pool.” Businesses will
gain insight into recruiting and retaining
military talent for their business from a
panel of distinguished local veterans. The
training is recommended for presidents,
managers, and human resource professionals interested in recruiting skilled veterans
for their workforce.
The business training takes place on Tuesday, November 10, 7:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. at
the Holiday Inn, 450 Main St., Dubuque, IA.
The training will also help business professionals with:
• Accessing resources to recruit and retain
veteran talent
• Understanding what veterans expect
from business leadership
• Variety of mortgage types
• Variety of mortgage terms
• Flexible financing
• Appreciating differences in veteran
interviews
• How to interpret military résumés
There is no cost to attend this event, but
space is limited. Continental breakfast will
be served. Pre-registration is requested by
Wednesday, November 4, 2015. General
recertification credit hours toward PHR,
SPHR and GPHR recertification have been
applied for through the Human Resource
Certification Institute (HRCI).
NICC Increases Tuition Rate for
Non-Resident Students
In order to bring Northeast Iowa Community College’s (NICC) tuition into alignment
with Iowa’s 14 other community colleges as
mandated by the Iowa Department of Education, the board of trustees on September
21 approved the implementation of a
tuition increase for non-resident students.
In addition to the current $167 per credit
hour rate (tuition and fees), the new nonresident rate will be $172 (tuition and fees).

Since 2000, NICC was the only community
college in the state to have the same tuition
rate for residents of Iowa and non-resident
students. Approximately 600-700 nonresident students enroll at NICC each year.
Out-of-state students who entered the
College in fall 2015 will be grandfathered
in and will encounter no additional increase
