The restaurant is comprised of three levels, all are visible from the lobby. Staircases wrap along and up the original brick walls and the all-glass ceiling above showcases a view of the sky. Each dining room’s ceiling features beautifully detailed tin. The bar and first floor dining room are located to the right of the lobby. The bar front is repurposed tin ceiling panels and these are mirrored along the top of the back bar, as well. They are painted a rich gold and definitely create a conversational element to the bar. The first floor dining room is cozy and comfortable with Taste Whatever the reason, RESTAURANT dining at One Eleven Main is definitely a memorable and delicious culinary experience. traditional table seating, booths, and pub tables along the front windows which sport a view of Main St. A short walk up the stairs, the second floor opens up to a large dining room with tables set for parties of all sizes. The original brick walls are adorned with black and white photographs of local farmers, ranchers, and the hard working people who bring local flavors to the kitchen at One Eleven Main. The third floor is available for private dining and is very popular for holiday parties, rehearsal dinners, reunions, showers, corporate gatherings, and special events. The loft type feeling of the space lends itself nicely to wedding receptions and can accommodate parties of up to 60 people. Two to three nights a week, depending on the season, theatre performances by Jim Post can be seen on the third floor. Jim Post currently presents Mark Twain and the Laughing River at One Eleven Main. This presentation is part history, humor, storytelling, and musical theater. Each family friendly show is about 90 minutes long and show time is at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and review View from top of stairs Just a short drive from many tri-state communities, Galena, IL offers many things to do. There are quaint shops to peruse, hiking and biking on miles of trails, canoeing and kayaking on the Galena River, and amazing restaurants that feature everything from pizza and pasta to fine dining pleasures. I had the delight of visiting one of Galena’s unique restaurants on a cool fall evening. As the sun set on the horizon, I set out for Galena’s cobblestone streets to dine at One Eleven Main.
