obody rains on Kenny Koester’s
parade. And nobody likes a parade better than Kenny Koester,
either. An area “parade staple,”
it’s hard to say whether Kenny is a wagon
master or, quite simply, one heck of a good
horse whisperer.
Regardless, Kenny, 75, has evolved into a
Jo Daviess County icon for providing rustic
wagon and hayrides for special events,
such as Galena Cellar’s annual Harvest
