Visit Platteville.com. events culture Christmas Candlewalk Friday, November 27 5-8 PM @ Cable Car Square, 4th & Bluff St. Hundreds of luminaries will line Bluff & 4th St., lighting the way as families gather at the foot of the famed Fenelon Place Elevator waiting for the Jolly ‘ol Elf himself along with the Missus to ride the last cable car trip of the year. Throngs of people will gather and singing songs accompanied by KAT-FM. This is a great event for kids of all ages. The Dark Slide Skate Art Show The Maggie Mae Holiday Show @ Dubuque Area Arts Collective View skateboard deck art from local and regional artists. Proceeds will support a new skate park, DAAC, and contributing artists. An opening reception will be held November 28 from 5:00-10:00 p.m. Live music will be provided by Snuff Queen, Telekinetic Yeti, Garbage Man, and Thee Micro Mantis. There is a $5-$10 suggested donation. The exhibit is open Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00-4:00 p.m. through January 31.
