Make Do And Trend:
Simple Summer Bunting
You Will Need:
- A choice of fabric (scrap
cotton will work fine, or search
for ‘fat quarters’ online)
- A template of your chosen
shape and size (we went for
mini triangles, but feel free to
experiment – hearts or flowers
also work well!)
- A length of bias binding
(length will vary depending on
your chosen flag size)
- Sewing machine/ needle and
thread
- Pins
To Make
1) Draw around your template
on to the wrong side of your
fabric
2)Cut these out and pair them
up,wrong sides facing. Pin
them together, repeating for
your desired number of flags.
3)Using a sewing machine,
sew along two sides of each
flag, leaving the tops open.

Leave a small length of binding
free at either end for hanging.

sewing machine and sew the
