Dancing With Our Stars is about more than
fun, as proceeds from the competition will go
to benefit a dozen local charities that provide
care, relief and support to Calhoun County
communities.
Charities include:
• The American Red Cross: The Red Cross provides disaster relief, health care and more to
those in need.
STAR: Peggy Miller-Lacher
DANCER: Phillip Krosnar
Peggy Miller-Lacher practices family law
in Calhoun and Cleburne counties and is
a candidate for Family Circuit Court Judge
this year.
Phillip Krosnar teaches math and science
at the Donoho School, and previously performed with the Penn State International
Dance Ensemble.

• Preschool Friends: A program based in Anniston’s Grace Episcopal Church, centered
around providing families with preschoolaged children with the skills they’ll need for
grade school and kindergarten.
• The Boys and Girls Clubs of East Central
Alabama: Focused on providing a safe place
for kids to go, where they can get help with
homework, learn about responsibility and
get a head start on their personal growth.
