The continuous learning and the ability to grow as a professional; knowledge sharing through team work; flexibility at work and the support I receive from colleagues. EY tries its best to reward hard work through enhanced client exposure, promotions, training, global mobility, etc. What tips or advice would you give Hult graduates looking to work at EY? EY encourages internal referrals so networking and finding the right people (people with similar backgrounds, social affiliations, etc.) can increase your visibility given you have the right skill set. Don’t be afraid to reach out to people who you think could help! Although many of the people who join EY do have a finance/ accounting background, EY is interested in hiring individuals with industry experience, such as pharma, technology, or oil and gas. Last but not least, start looking and applying for the right position as early as possible as companies like EY hire multiple times a year. Brenna, what do you like most about working for Autodesk? Autodesk creates products that help people around the world imagine, design, and create a better world. Our customers are doing incredible things with our software including 3D-printed custom prosthetics, creating stunning visual effects for Academy Award nominated films, designing eco-friendly stoves that reduce harmful emissions in the developing world, and more. Its employees highlight the friendly atmosphere and family feeling. We asked Daniel Cole to tell us more about Accenture. Daniel, what do you like about working for Accenture? Accenture is a massive company that has so many opportunities to get involved. Whether it’s attending networking events, leadership development training, or community service, there is a concerted effort to support employees and help us feel engaged. The sense of community gives it a small company feel, while still maintaining a plethora of engagement opportunities. Why did you choose to work for Accenture? Consulting at Accenture is great because we work across all industries. If I developed an interest in financial services or public health, there is a network that can help me transition. That flexibility to try new things is very appealing to me. What tips or advice would you give Hult graduates looking to work there? Accenture is a very data-driven company that looks for high performers. Quantifiable details about what you’ve done stands out more than just listing role responsibilities.
