RENNES LADIES REPEAT
While we didn’t have any surprise
in the France Ladies Football Championship finals recently at Guerande
as Rennes Ladies took victory once
more we had new men’s champions of
France this time in the guise of Tolosa
Gaels.
A record 23 teams from all over France
gathered at the coastal town of Guerande for the 2015 France Gaelic Championship on June 6th with 5 teams in the
ladies event and no less than 18 in men’s
competitions split into Elite (senior),
Honneur (intermediate) and Promotion
(junior).
The France Championship began in
2012 with just 8 teams and in just three
short years has grown dramatically with
some 300 athletes at Guerande.
