In saying that I would just love to see the TCB Band back this show just once.
I have no doubt that a CD/DVD will be made available if this is to be a success. Time will tell.
In the pipeline already we hear that this show will go on from Europe and also tour the USA next year, you wonder where it will end up after that?
I can’t see this touring year after year; the magic with the big screen show was that Elvis’ own band was backing him. It will take something special for people to flock to see this year after year.
With the big screen show, the repertoire could be altered at any time to freshen it up, however even then the big screen show did start to become stale, but to keep the atmosphere of the "Vegas show room" there is very little alternation of songs from this line up, and then you really do wonder how it will stay fresh.
I think it is entirely possible that if this is a success you will see a revamp of the “68 Comeback Special” or the “Aloha From Hawaii” show presented in the same format. One thing is for sure - virtual Elvis will never leave the building.
