Connect Autumn 2015

1 AUTUMN 2015 THE MAGAZINE OF AYRSHIRE COLLEGE taste Ayrshire Ayrshire College students participated in an exciting event at Dumfries House in September, to promote Ayrshire produce in the year of food and drink. Seven teams of college student chefs – supported by hospitality staff and students – participated in a ‘Cook off Challenge’ in the afternoon, after secondary schools performed the same task in the morning. Students were tasked with delivering a three course meal in an hour, with ingredients sourced from stalls set up in the hall by local producers.
