U-Haul did not alter their policies regarding the renting of trailers to persons planning to tow behind the Mercury Mountaineer or Mazda Navajo,
which are both mechanically identical to the Ford Explorer. Currently, U-Haul still does not allow Ford Explorers to tow their trailers.
