BBYO’s Summer
Experiences Are
a Home Away
From Home
Haganah BBG #5064 and Rubin Kaplan AZA #841 are where we first developed
our passion for BBG and AZA, finding a home in BBYO. But, quickly and with the
encouragement of older brothers and sisters, we extended our community and
found a home away from home at BBYO’s Summer Experiences.
At CLTC, over 12 days, a group of complete strangers turned into our best friends
and we first discovered how brothers and sisters can offer solidarity, community and
friendship that remain with us to this day. As the years continued and we explored
new programs—ILTC, Kallah, ILSI and IMPACT—we developed our leadership skills,
explored our Jewish identity and deepened our service to the communities around us.
Our many summer "homes away from home" taught us new things about ourselves
and the world we share and offered new memories and lasting friendships with
Jewish teens from all over North America and across the world.
Each Summer Experience has been unique, but the lasting feeling of being a
part of something bigger than ourselves and fully accepted is true of all BBYO
experiences.
We invite you to discover the diverse opportunities to experience BBYO during the
summer firsthand. There’s nowhere else where you will be surrounded by peers more
dynamic or educators more inspirational. The community you will build for yourself
will be powerful, meaningful and one that you will share for the rest of your life.
We know that "home is where the heart is" and, while our chapters will always be our
first love, we’ve strengthened our love for BBG, AZA, the BBYO Movement and the
Jewish community at second homes across the world.
BBYO is offering
more scholarship
funds than ever
before. This
commitment
to affordability
ensures more
Jewish teens will
