Exciting changes are taking place within our organization! Sulynda Shell is stepping away
from her position as Executive Director, and handing over her duties to Leslie Peppers.
Sulynda and Leslie have been working together to make this transition a smooth one for
KAB.
“It has been my pleasure and honor to have served KAB as both a volunteer and as Executive Director. I have made many friends over the last few years with KAB. I appreciate the support I
have received from our board members and volunteers as well as our Albertville City employees and
City leaders. I have been inspired by their determination and passion to make Albertville better by
working together. Although I am stepping away from my job with KAB, I will forever be
a volunteer and will look forward to getting to continue with KAB in that capacity,”
Sulynda says.
Leslie adds, “It is such a privilege for me to step into this position with KAB. I have
very large shoes to fill in carrying out the duties of the two Executive Directors who
served before me. I am looking forward to getting to know the volunteers, sponsors, and others within
the organization. There is so much passion among them for what they do for our community, and it inspires me to put as much heart and effort into my responsibilities as they do.”
{Work
in Progress notes}: Need to select fonts for headlines and copy for all newsletters, to stick with in future newsletters for cohesiveness. This has been done with
Georgia, but need to settle on a better one I think.
Need to get Photoshop backgrounds over to KAB hard drive (I have tons of them), particularly ones with light green in them. These will be used here and there for visual appeal within text boxes.
