American Latino Magazine is proud to present two young Latinas who were raised in Oxnard, and are now well-poised to be the leaders of our future. By coincidence, they are sisters: Eliana and Paloma Murillo. Google is the most used search engine in the world. If you “Google” Eliana Murillo you would find words/phrases like Harvard graduate, passion about giving back, dedication, tech savvy Latina, entrepreneur and leader. Harvard Graduate: Eliana was accepted to Harvard University, where she enrolled upon graduating from Pacifica High School in Oxnard. She earned a BA in Sociology & Economics with Emphasis on Multicultural Consumer Markets and spent a semester in Cyprus as part of the International Study Abroad Program (with a focus on globalization and cultural influence on corporate entities). Eliana is also Eliana Murillo buying strategies and supply chain optimization for Target before joining Google as a Diversity Business Devolopment Analyst where she Eliana Murillo interviewing Latin Pop Star Marc Anthony on Google+ the founder and Past President of the organization Latino Business Connection at Harvard. Dedication: Eliana earned a spot as a Google Intern, and also handled internal devoted 20% of her work hours to a project (reaching out to small businesses) within the company but outside of her core area.
