LCSD 1st Semester a Success
The 2014-2015 school year is almost half over. We
can all agree the first semester has certainly been
filled with challenges. Teachers were expected to handle the mandates of a new curriculum and the first
round of live Common Core state testing, in addition
to the day-to-day situations that come with running a
school and/or classroom. However, in looking back, I
am so proud of our teachers, administrators, and staff.
As I visit schools I see first hand how well each of
Randy Hodges, Superintendent
you has handled the stress placed in your path. One
thing we can be assured of is that the demands we face will continuously
change. The way we handle ourselves as a
school and district define who we are and what we are about. I am extremely proud to be a part of such a great school system. We may not know
what the future holds, but we will keep moving forward despite the adverse
situations placed in front of us.
I want to take this opportunity to wish each of you a safe and happy holiday
season. May you take time to remember the things most important and
spend time with family and friends. Merry Christmas!
