Words From The Hearts Of The Pastor And First Lady
We greet each and every one of you in the Matchless , Marvelous , and Miraculous Name of Our Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ . How
good and how pleasant it is for brethren ( The Family of God ) to dwell together in unity ( Ps . 133:1 ). Indeed we are blessed to print and distribute our 1 st Edition of our Newsletter , F . I . R . E for the year of 2017 . We certainly would like to commend our Public Relations Outreach ( PRO ) Ministry for their hard and excellent work .
As the Lord has brought and blessed us into another year , we believe by faith that “ What ’ s To Come Is So Much Better Than What ’ s Been ”. Beloved , without a doubt , this is an exciting time in the life of our church . Indeed , it is a great time to be alive and to be a part of the Mt . Moriah Church Family and Nation . As we focus on our theme of “ Working And Partnering Together To Make Things Better ” ( Advancing The Kingdom Of God ), we are expecting and anticipating a Mighty and Powerful Move of God .
It is in this year and going forward that we are looking forward to Exciting and Powerful Worship , Explosive and Powerful Word , and Energetic and Enthusiastic People who are willing to Work and Witness . In addition to the new ministries that have been established in the last two years , as we continue to grow and expand and as the vision continues to become a reality it is in this year of 2017 that even more new ministries will be established . These new ministries and milestones will include the following : 1 . CATCH ON FIRE INTERNET RADIO BROAD- CAST OUTREACH MINISTRY ( ONE HOUR OF POWER ) 2 . LET THE CHILDREN COME MINISTRY 3 . MARRIED COU- PLES ’ MINISTRY 4 . CHURCH APP 5 . STEAMING LIVE ( WORSHIP SERVICES ) 6 . CHILDREN & YOUTH PRAISE DANCE MINISTRY 7 . FIREPOWER MINISTRY ( PRAISE & WORSHIP – 3 RD & 5 TH SUN .) 8 . NURSING HOME MINISTRY
9 . GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY FOR NEW FAMILY LIFE CENTER ( PROJECTED DATE – AUGUST OR SEPTEMBER ).
In closing , let ’ s continue to let go and let God have His way in our lives as well as in the life of our church . Eyes have not seen , ears have not heard , neither has it entered into the hearts of men all that God has in store and prepared for them that love Him ( 1 Cor . 2:9 ) not only after this life as a Christian but even during this life . It ’ s all for His glory . We sincerely love each and every one of you with the love of Jesus Christ .

Casey Stengel made a comment about the challenge of managing a professional baseball team . His observation applies to life in general . He said , “ It ’ s easy to get good players . Getting ’ em to play together , that ’ s the hard part .”
Each of us faces that issue . How do I blend my abilities and talents with those of other people ? How do I cooperate with others so we can reach our goal ? That question applies to business , to family life and certainly to our walk with God .
Pride and selfishness hinder a team from being successful . Jesus instructed everyone , even leaders , to lay aside pride and live to serve others . The Apostle Paul understood the value of working effectively with others . He emphasized teamwork because he knew that we could only reach our goals through mutual effort .
God honors unselfishness . It is the only attitude that will make us winners in the end . As Casey Stengel demonstrated with the New York Yankees , championships are won when individuals play together . It works for church and , what ’ s more , it works in everyday life . It can work for Mt . Moriah .
