1940s ACCUMULATION OF SHEETS &

Tens of thousands of stamps, most in sheets or large multiples
from years 1944 to 1949, plus a stock book with inexpensive
mint & used going back to about 1900, and about 38 covers
from 1940s to 1970s. Large quantities, multiple sheets of some
vales, starting with Scott #574, and including: #574-77
complete sheets of 100; Great Wall semi-postal sets; large
quantities of overprinted issues, especially Martyrs; M13 (x95
stamps) plus a few with overprints; #611-14 two sheets of 50
each; #732-36 in quantities; #776-80 multiple sheets of each;
Provincial overprints, including Sinkiang #174//87 in blocks
of 16, many more. Covers are commercial with a variety of
frankings, some from China Airlines to USA, earlier covers
from Foreign Service of USA, and others. Some covers roughly
opened, stamps fine to very fine, most no gum as issued.

Attractive collection of Mint & Used singles and sets, Scott
#9//#334 with many issues with both mint & used examples,
on black stock pages in green 3-ring binder. Nice range of issues
with many higher CV items. A few highlights include (by Scott):
#9 used (x2 different roulettes), #17-20, 21-23 & 25-30 used,
Imperial Arms #46-56 used (est cv $300), Arms of the Republic
#83-110 MH ($115) & used, #177-79 MH & used, and more
including Zeppelin C1 MNH ($225). ALSO in binder: Karelia
Bear #1-11 MH ($364) in mounts on album page plus MH
N8-15, N16-21 & N22-27 on stock page. Owner’s Finland
inventory with cat value of $1,716 & Karelia inventory
included. Clean material, a few faulty, overall average to fine
for earlier issues, fine to very fine for later.
