All housed in black mounts. Four volumes of Commemorative & Airmail plate blocks, and one volume of Regular & Airmail, plus some other Back of Book. NO Ducks or Postage Dues. Starts with Rotary issues Scott #635-36, 638-42, Valley Forge #645, Molly Pitcher #646, Aeronautics #649-50, 654-55, Washington Bicentennial (9 of 12 values), #730-31 S/S, National Parks (complete perf & imperf), Presidential to $2, Famous Americans (complete set of 35), Liberty issue to $1, Prominent Americans, Americana, #2041 ‘short bridge’, #2881 Black ‘G’ (CV $65), all Express & Priority Mail dollar issues for period, State Birds/Flowers, C11, C25-31, C46, CE1-2, E16-23, O127-33, O138. Some problem blocks indicated & not counted, others may exist. Some minor duplication, mostly in commons or 1950s-60s commemoratives. Mostly fine to very fine, attractive collection. Scott catalog alone to year 1941 is $2,250; face from there through end over $1,500. 2551 Estimate 2555 / 1954-2002 BIG SOMEWHAT ORGANIZED FACE LOT ................................................................ $3000-4000 Many thousands of mostly MINT single stamps organized as dealer stock in glassines by Scott #, although somewhat out of order. Hundreds of glassines arranged in dealer boxes. Earlier stamps with both MINT and some USED stamps mixed in same glassine, transitioning to almost exclusively larger quantities of MINT by the mid 1980s. There is a notable absence of dollar values of definitives, but there are some mint Priority and Express Mail issues present, as well as some premium. Quantities of each issue vary, with estimated face in excess of $5,000. Substantial range of different stamps and face denominations throughout. 2556 Thousands of stamps in various forms including Commemorative Panels, full sheets, booklets, coil strips and bit of scrap. Heavy in 29¢ through 32¢ denomination period. About $1,600 in face, plus $140 face in Duck plate blocks. All MINT never hinged, overall very fine. 2557 Collection of more than 400 MINT never hinged plate blocks in mounts in a Harris Liberty Plate Block album. Includes definitives and commemoratives and a few Airmails and Back of Book. Fresh, very fine material throughout. Denominations range from ½¢-25¢ with majority in 3¢-10¢ denomination range. A few highlights include: complete sheets for Army-Navy 1¢-5¢ #784-89, State Birds & Flowers & North American Wildlife (x2); many plate blocks for 4¢-6¢ with good variety and moderate duplication for some. Expect some damaged or with partial gum. Collection includes singles, se-tenant pairs, strips & blocks, complete panes of American Art, Sonoran Desert, Trans-Mississippi 1¢-$2, 33¢ Victorian Love, 32¢ Sano di Pietro Madonna and Insects & Spiders, and a few higher denomination definitives with $1 Seaplane, Hopkins & Revel, $2 Bryan & Bobcat, $5 Harte. Clean collection with owner’s face $919. Includes some better in addition to plenty of useful face material.
