1830s-1970s INTERESTING SMALL ACCUMULATION

Small but interesting and impossible to duplicate lot of mostly
minor EFOs on cover. Vast majority are Misperfs or Postal
stationery freaks, but all are useful. Includes about 30 items
total, with some duplication of stationery items. Highlights
include Scott 26 double perfs top and bottom, Scott 65 double
perfs at top, large ink smear on Scott 583, gutter snipe on first
day cover of Scott C19 (Washington, DC), albinos, miscuts
and more. Condition is kind of rough on some, but all show
postal use of EFOs. Fine. From long buried Ezra D. Cole stock.
Interesting and useful group, best is probably the six Civil War
Patriotics, generally fine to very fine, four Flag designs, one
Soldier & Flag and one Eagle & Flag; also about 30 stampless,
nice variety, condition varies, includes a group of 5 Civil War
Soldier’s Letters with handstamp Due markings; there’s a
Soldier’s Letter from German POW camp; a few modern FDCs;
a few old postal cards used & unused; more.

Exceptional group of 14 covers and one front, offered intact as
received, includes one stampless; #2 huge margins (upper left
corner drawn-in) tied with red grid cancel, NY to Ohio; #67 &
#68, each tied with St. Louis cds, to Germany; 3¢ front to
Germany uprated with 10¢ green (x3) & 2¢ black, all grilled;
#75L5 (not tied) on folded letter; a number of 1¢ blues (perf &
imperf); #68 & 75 to Prussia; a couple of #65 & 65 covers; a
few Banknotes (7¢ & 15¢); more. Usual faults or minor wear,
generally fine quite nice, overall fine to very fine.

Group of 17 covers & postal stationery, plus 23 stamps &
Official Seals. Highlights include 1846 stampless from New
York to Newburgh, NY; 1859 cover with 3¢ Washington w/
dated manuscript town cancel for Middleton, Tennessee, scarce
on stampless covers; 1901 cover from Hoboken to Switzerland,
franked with 5¢ Pan-American; 1929 Buffalo Aviation Show
special event cover; 1934 Mother’s Day stamp with USS Goff
naval cancel; few unused postal stationery items; selection of
Post Office Seals from 1880s-90s; more. Overall fine.

1870s-1990s FDCs, POSTAL HISTORY & MORE ..... $500-750
Large USA cover accumulation in approximately 15 binders,
four shoe boxes and loose, all in a number of large storage
boxes. Thousands of covers, mostly FDCs, but also postal
history and even some paper ephemera. Some better postal
history material going back to Banknote era, spotted early 20th
century advertising covers, a little foreign some postcards, some
ephemera including valentines, stereoscopic cards, 1933
World’s Fair items, college currency and more. All of this along
with many hundreds (thousands?) of FDCs, years 1950s-90s,
including multicolored Fleetwoods with Marilyn, complete set
of 50 State Flags, spotted two 1966 Delavan, WI Circus FDCs,
1968 Marquette maxi-card FDC, many others. A few faults,
generally fine to very fine or better.
