D.C.’ date stamps on August 1923 covers, same addressee but
in different hands. Overall fine to very fine, small faults,
including 16¢ with couple small corner tears top left, slight
cover soiling. FDC for 16¢ stamp on cover from The Shoreham
Hotel (illustration on backflap). Scarce trio. Cat $1750.

Two scarce FDCs for precanceled versions of early Transportation coil stamps 5.2¢ Sleigh and 5.9¢ Bicycle. Both on Kribbs
handpainted covers, each with a 10¢ postage due stamp (also

Extensive collection of the ‘First Man On the Moon’ issue of
Sept 9, 1969, beginning with first day ceremony program and
including more than 50 cacheted covers. All are unaddressed
almost all printed (couple hand colored) with many issued in
small quantities. Almost all have the ‘Moon Landing’ cds of
July 20, 1969, in addition to the first day cancel of Sept 9.
Some with a bit of toning. An excellent collection for the Apollo
