Trans-Mississippi 2¢ block of 4, all tied by multiple strikes
New York ‘REG’ oval cancels. New York Registry Exchange
Label (Scott FX-NY 1b(ii)) on front along with 8/10/98 Registry
Division oval cancel; violet boxed New York ‘REG’ in bars
handstamp along with 8/21 Budapest Main Post Office receiver
on back. Two tape stains on back from previous mounting,
otherwise very fine, including stamps and cancel strikes.
Attractive cover.

and 60 more advertising covers with illustrations or corner cards
including many Chicago, IL, Link-Belt Machinery Co covers
and other chain belt & machinery related covers/cards in
another binder. Michigan covers include color and B&W
illustrated, assorted corner cards and 5 used faulty colorful
Civil War Patriotics franked with #65. A few Michigan
advertising highlights include: 1914 Post Tavern with multicolored tavern & street scene on back; 1904 Buckeye Chemical
& Soap Co. with B&W illustration of train, ship & globe; 1916
Lockwood Company with B&W open oyster illustration; 1916
Valley City Milling Company with red (Golden G), white (Lily
White) & blue (Graham Flour) bags of flour on back; and other
illustrated covers for the Iroquois Co. cigars; ‘Favorite’ stoves
& ranges, Polarine and Red Crown Gasoline, Ladies of the
Maccabees for Michigan; others. Overall, fine to very fine
covers covering a range of topics. Ex-Bergmann.

nearly all with all-over cachets, a number are signed by pilots
or crew. Volume I starts with a series of covers and cards
tracking the Boeing 727 initial Continental and International
Tours of 1963, then a wide variety of flights, frankings and
cachets. Clean, very fine throughout. Interesting and attractive
material.
